- Go to a record shop and get a record or 2, preferably funky ones or very funny ones
- Visit the University and see if I can go to a lecture, just to see what it's like
- Visit the Ambasavila & the palace & the Chamundeswari temple
- Decide which tune fits Mysore best of all, and make it my anthem for the place
- Find out some more about Ayurveda
- Keep this blog up to date
- Do some work and talk to my advisor online!
- Oh and buy a snow globe for R if I can find one (she collects them from warm places only)
I'm looking forward to it in a chilled out way. A bit nervous about the whole yoga thing, but you know, I'm not giving my life away, I'm hopefully taking something away with me. I mostly hope that I'm not disruptive to anyone else, falling on someone out of headstand probably isn't the best way to meet people.
We'll see how many of these things I end up doing.

Definitely keep up your blog.
Thanks for the encouragement! I will do.
hey,
when are you going to Mysore? Maybe we will meet there?! I am so excited too and also anxious about falling on someone since I have very wobbly headstands!
One question, if you have a laptop are you planning to take it with you? I cannot decide if it is worth to take mine with me...
ahu
I will be there all of november. When are you going?
I am bringing my laptop, because I need to do some work basically, otherwise I might not bother. I think it's nice to have all of your own software and so on to use, but I would back everything up on an external hard drive or server before leaving.
hey, I am leaving next week, and I will be there in November! I think I am not going to bother taking my laptop since my sister just got robbed in Israel! I am sure Mysore is much safer but I will be all right with internet cafes and will be worry free... see you in Mysore!

I ended up doing everything I planned to apart from The university and the snow globe!
Not bad going!
